South Africa
South African safari has almost everything, there are beaches, mountains, cities, winelands, culture, and, great safari national parks and game reserves. You feel no difference like being in the USA or any of the European countries. Private reserves adjacent to the Kruger National Park offers the best safari such as the Sabi Sand and Timbavati reserves.  For those who don’t mind being in crowded places, we recommend the Kruger National Park. Kruger is the easiest quality place in Africa to encounter the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), here you have a chance to spot all five species in a one day of your African safari. It is also, the better place to spot leopards. This country has so a lot to offer extra than safaris. It is always advisable to combine some non-safari time in South Africa. Cape Town is always compared to San Francisco and Sydney, this has made it to be considered by many to be one of the top five cities in the world because it has stunning coastal drives, charming hamlets, and the famed Garden Route. Not just that, There is also a remarkable wildlife with outstanding whale and shark watching. Apart from Cape Town, there are other great regions that offer game parks, historic battle fields, warm water beaches, mountains, some of the world’s most luxurious trains etc.

Tanzania is considered the great wildlife migration safari country.  In Tanzania safari, you find the best  safari of your dreams:

There are famous destinations in Tanzania, like the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar and Mount Kilimanjaro. The country also has national  parks that are not well known, like Ruaha national park, Katavi national park and Mahale National Park. All of this national parks advocates the greatest wildlife quantities in all of Africa. Tanzania is home to roughly 2 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle moving through the Serengeti ecosystem and its considred as Africa’s  largest populations of many safari species, such as lions and legendary Great wildest Migration. The major safari tours activities takes place in Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire which is known as the Northern Circuit. The perfect area to visit in Serengeti change throughout the year according to the movement of the Great Migration. And therefore, most good camps tend to be seasonal tented camps that migrate with the wildebeest Migration and travelers will have a private guide and vehicle that stays with them throughout their entire safari on a Northern Circuit.

Uganda is a beautiful and peaceful country and there is a lot to expect on safaris in Uganda in 2024 – 2025, it includes the striking feature that is most seen in the areas near the rainforests such as Bwindi, Kibale, Budongo, etc., incredible mountain gorilla tracking is the most rewarding activity you should expect in Uganda safaris, other incredible activities are culture, game safari and sightseeing of the terraced Agriculture which rings the hills in thousands of shades of green savannah. Most Uganda tours always head to western part of the country to the broad belt of national parks that form the western border. The country is located on the meeting point of the eastern savannah and western jungle, Uganda is blessed with excellent terrain for the wider varieties of safaris ranging from a traditional game drive through grassland looking for wildlife animals and the birding is superlative with birdwatching that includes the glorious of the shoebill stork. The most visited traditional Big Five national parks of Uganda are Queen Elizabeth National Park and Murchison Falls national park.

Who is this safari for?

Uganda is a destination for everyone and mostly for those in search of the absolute primate safaris that’s to say Chimpanzees which roam in numbers at Kibale forest national park, the last remaining mountain gorilla in Bwindi Impenetrable National park, and habituated chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, not only that, you also expect colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, de Brazza monkeys and a host of other more species.

Visitors usually fly back or drive to Entebbe after the gorilla experience or elsewhere or to head another Uganda safari circuit to Kibale national park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Murchison Falls.

When should I go for Safari?
Uganda safaris are good all year round, however, the rainy seasons (March to May and September to November) can make it a little tricky as the difficulty level of tracking gorillas and chimpanzees increases during rainy seasons.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is the jungle forest where most of Uganda safari activities are done and it can be reached using many routes by road and below are most commonly used routes to access the park.
1. Kampala City Via Ntungamo Town, Rukungiri Town, Kihihi Town up to Buhoma Town
This is the most efficient, direct, and quickest route for visitors who are traveling from Kampala city or Entebbe. This route follows a tarmacked drive for approximately 390 km to Rukungiri district then another 82 km distance drive on winding marram road up to the headquarters at Buhoma of Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
2. Kampala City via Kabale Town, Kanungu Town to Buhoma Sector Headquarters
About 414km of this route has tarmac which is about 6-7 hours of driving between Kampala and Kabale district after tourists will drive in a winding murram road for only 120 km which will take about 5-6hours drive to reach to Buhoma sector of Bwindi impenetrable national park which is the headquarters of the park. All drives are recommended for a 4WD vehicle.
3. Queen Elizabeth National Park (Mweya) via Kihihi Town to Buhoma sector HQ
This route heads up to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park’s southern region called Ishasha which is well known for tree climbing lions and providing the view of scenic landscapes of tea plantations. When using this route, it’s recommended to have a stopover to search for the lions in the ishasha sector then proceed to Bwindi after a short game safari in queen. From here the journey only takes about 64 kilometers from Ishasha and it’s along the dirt road without tarmac.
4. Kampala Capital City via Kabale Town, Ruhija Sector to Buhoma HQ
The driving distance from Kabale town via Ruhija to Buhoma gorilla trekking headquarters is approximately 95 which will take around 4 – 5 hours drive on a marram road and always a 4 wheel drive vehicles are recommended.
5. Kampala City via Kabale district to Nkuringo Sector of Bwindi
Driving distance from Kampala or Entebbe via Kabale to Nkuringo is approximately105km which takes a duration of between 4-5 hours driving in sloppy mountainous areas with marram road. Some of the tourists prefer to spend a night in Kisoro city then proceed the following morning to Nkuringo or Ruhija sectors of Bwindi impenetrable forest national park which is approximately 80 kilometers and a 4 wheel safari vehicles are highly recommended because of nature of roads
By air.
There are many flights scheduled to Bwindi daily from Entebbe international airport to Kisoro Airstrip for tourists visiting or doing Uganda gorilla safaris in Rushaga and Nkuringo sectors. Upon landing in Kisoro, tourists are transferred for about 1 hour to a safari lodge in Rushaga and 2 hours to a safari lodge in Nkuringo sectors for trekking gorillas the next morning, and travelers will need a 4-wheel safari van or land riser since it’s a winding murram road which sometimes gets muddy when it rains.

For the northern part of the park, there are flights scheduled that land at Kihihi Airstrip which serves the Buhoma sector and part of the Nkuringo and Ruhija sectors northerly.
