Day One: Arrival-Entebbe-Kampala
On arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide from Four Crane Safaris who will then transfer you to The Boma Hotel, Protea Hotel or Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort for dinner and overnight Meal plan D)
Day Two: Kampala-kibale
Today begins with breakfast and later head for Kibale Forest National Park, approximately 4 hours drive via Mubende. Kibale Forest is a large protected block of rainforest, which has the highest number of primates in Africa such as Chimpanzees, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Red Tailed monkey and Red Colobus. Relax in the evening have dinner and over night at Primate Lodge, Kyaninga Lodge (High end/luxurious accommodation) or Isunga Lodge (Medium class accommodation) a stunning location overlooking a dramatic Crater Lake and the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”. Evening cultural visit around the crates is amazing. Meal plan B, L, D)
Day Three: Kibale/Queen Elizabeth Park
Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive south wards into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroute. Dinner and overnight at spectacular Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana Lodge. Day Four: Queen Elizabeth Park
Have a dawn game drive in Uganda’s best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and kob, expect to see some rarer animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes Edward and George, for large numbers of buffalo, crocodile and hippo. Dinner and overnight at spectacular Mweya Lodge or Jacana Lodge. (High end/luxurious accommodation) or Parkview safari lodge (midrange accommodation). Meal plan B, L, D)
Day Five: Queen-Mburo
Today’s drive is through what is probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the savanna grassland which reaches the Kyambura Gorge. All should carry torches. The afternoon lunch is spent at Agip Motel Mbarara. Drive to Mburo Park with evening game drive around the park tracks. Dinner and over night at Mihingo Lodge (luxurious accommodation), or Arcadia Cottages (Medium class accommodation) .
Day Six: Mburo
After breakfast make an early morning game walk in the park which is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, etc. Dinner and over night at Mihingo Lodge (High end/luxurious accommodation) or Arcadia Cottages (Medium class accommodation).
Day Seven: Mburo-Entebbe / Depart
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch enroute and stop over at Equator Uganda before your evening departures home.
