10 Days Gorilla, Chimpanzee and Serengeti Wildebeest Migration

This 10-day safari features Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking in Uganda and wildebeest Migration in Serengeti National Park where you will experience wildebeest migration in large numbers in search of water and green pasture in Tanzania's famous national park. it also features cultural experiences and sightseeing.

Itinerary:

DAY 1

ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT

You will meet our driver/guide on your arrival to Entebbe airport who will transfer you to your Hotel. (+/- 15 minutes).

Overnight at Airport Guest House Entebbe (BB).

Day 2

Kibale National Park

pick up from your hotel after breakfast (8:00) for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and the thick jungle of Africa to Kibale National Park just under the Rwenzori Mountains. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Day 3

Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale

Early morning trek for chimpanzees and village cultural experience in the afternoon.

Day 4

Transfer to Bwindi Forest.

After breakfast, drive to Bwindi via the landscape of tea plantations, probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, and the highland rain forests that reach the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Day 5

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Begin the day with breakfast ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc.

DAY 6

TRANSFER BACK TO ENTEBBE

You will be transferred back to Entebbe for your scheduled flight to Kenya the following day.

DAY 7

FLY TO TANZANIA

Fly to Kilimanjaro Airport and then transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8

TRANSFER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

The drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge takes 4 to 5 hours. Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils were first discovered.

DAY 9

GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a full day wildebeest migration with a picnic lunch beside you.

DAY 10

TRANSFER BACK TO KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

After breakfast check out of the Hotel and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight back home.
