ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport

Arrival and transfer to the Hotel for overnight.
 Overnight at The Boma Hotel, Airport guest Houes or Hotel Number 5 (B&B).
 
 

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Our guide/driver picks you at 7:00 am from your hotel for the drive to Murchison falls national park. You will have a stopover at Nakitoma in Nakasongola for a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will do Rhino tracking then proceed to Murchison falls national park. you will visit the top of waterfalls in the afternoon.
Overnight at Paraa Safari lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge or Ikorom safari Lodge(Full Board).
 

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat trip in Murchison Falls N.P

After Breakfast you will do dawn morning game drive search for “Big Five” (Buffaloes, Hippos, and leopards) other animals. The morning is the best time for game drive as African animal kingdom tend to be more active during the golden hours of first sunlight toutching the savannah, you will see Lions, Rothschild Giraffes, Bushbucks, warthogs, waterbucks and variety of Antelopes. Return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, embark for 3 hours’ afternoon boat safari to the bottom of Falls, this cruise allows you to see large hippo pods, crocodiles and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls. You will have the opportunity to take thousands of pictures.
Overnight at Paraa Safari lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge or Ikorom safari Lodge(Full Board).
 

Day 4: Drive to Kibale for Chimpanzee

All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments . Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Optional evening cultural visit around the crates is amazing 
Overnight at Kibale Forest camp or Chimpudu Lodge (Full Board).
 
 

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primate including phoestes, red colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked monkey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.  Queen Elizabeth national park is located in south western Uganda and its the second largest national park in Uganda after Murchison and located at the base of majestic Rwenzori mountains, next to lake Edward and lake George which are joined by Kazinga channel. This park has over 5000 hippos, 2500 Elephants and over 10000 buffaloes thriving in its grassland.

Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will do dawn morning game drive in Uganda‘s best park where all the big game can be seen in abundance.  The morning is the best time for game drive as African animal kingdom tend to be more active during the golden hours of first sunlight toutching the savannah. You will see lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, Leopards, waterbuck, Kobs, warthog, primates and big number of birds, also expect to see some rare animals like giant forest hog. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Albert and George. Here you will see large numbers of hippo more than you can possibly imagine, You will also see other animals such as crocodiles, waterbirds, and bathing Elephants.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park then Drive to Bwindi National Park

The morning is spent on a game drive around the Ishasha Sector looking for the rare tree African climbing lions. Thereafter drive to Bwindi via the landscape of tea plantations, probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which reach to the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds.
 Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Gorilla Leisure Lodge (Full Board).
 
 
 

Day 8: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:30am with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. You may see the gorillas eating, sucking ants from a tree, swinging on vines, playing and sleeping. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. It is most rewarding animal-based experience that clients get and others would definitely do it again if given the opportunity. There are now only 1,000 left in the world! according to 2018 survey. The tracking may take between 2 and 10 hours but it’s well worth the effort. There is always an option to hire a local porter (highly recommended as it supports the local economy) who will carry your bag and literally, push you up the hills if necessary!

Day 9: Drive to Lake Mburo

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Mburo NP via Mbarara, where you will enjoy evening boat ride in Lake Mburo amidst Hippos. Other animals like Crocodiles herons, African King Fisher, Fish Eagles, Pelicans, and Crested Cranes including local fishermen and fishing villages may be seen. 
Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge, Eagle Nest Camp or Arcadia Cottages.
 

Day 10: Game viewing in Lake Mburo

Morning game walk in the Park which is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, etc.
Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge, Eagle Nest Camp or Arcadia Cottages.
 
 

Day 11: Return Home

 You will go for short morning game drive thereafter return to Kampala with stop over at Equator crossing and Mpambire drum makers for a brief photo opportunity and to shop souvenirs . Transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
