This 15 day African Jungle safari tours in Uganda takes you to the very best of Uganda wildlife safari destinations, this Jungle Tour is available on both group and private basis.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ENTEBBE:

We shall personally meet you upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, and transfer to your hotel. 
Dinner and overnigt at The Boma Hotel, Airport Guest Houes or Boutique hotel Number 5 (BB).
 

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Following breakfast, you will be transfered to Kidepo valley National Park. Isolated from the Ugandan mainstream by the harsh plains to the north of Mount Elgon. Kidepo is one of Africa’s last great wilderness areas, a tract of rugged savannah dominated by Mount Morungole and ransected by the Kidepo and Narus Rivers. Perennial running water in the Narus River makes Kidepo an oasis in the semi desert. This afternoon you can either take a game drive around the lodge area or perhaps recover from a long drive with a refreshing dip in stunning swimming pool. Carved out of a granite kopje the pool affords fantastic views down the Narus valley and over a waterhole frequented by many animals including Bullbull – our friendly elephant and unofficial head gardener! 
Overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge or Apoka Safari Lodge (Full Board).
 

DAY 3: KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK:

After an early breakfast, go for morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenga and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge or Apoka Safari Lodge (Full Board).

 

DAY 4: KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK:

After breakfast, we will visit the abandoned Katurum Lodge. Built by Idi Amin, this impressive structure is worth a visit for the views alone.visit the bird hide and enjoy a guided nature walk, look out for Fox Kestrel, Eastern Chanting Goshawk, Grasshopper Buzzard, Montague’s Harrier, Fan Tailed Raven and the very rare Stone Partridge. 
Overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge or Apoka Safari Lodge (Full Board).

 

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK:

Get up very early in the morning and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will visit the top waterfalls in the aftrenoon if arrive early. 
Overnight at Paraa Safari lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge or Ikorom safari Lodge(Full Board).
 

DAY 6: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT TRIP IN MURCHISON FALLS N.P: 

After Breakfast you will do dawn morning game drive search for “Big Five” (Buffaloes, Hippos, and leopards) other animals. The morning is the best time for game drive as African animal kingdom tend to be more active during the golden hours of first sunlight toutching the savannah, you will see Lions, Rothschild Giraffes, Bushbucks, warthogs, waterbucks and variety of Antelopes. Return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, embark for 3 hours’ afternoon boat safari to the bottom of Falls, this cruise allows you to see large hippo pods, crocodiles and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls. You will have the opportunity to take thousands of pictures.
Overnight at Paraa Safari lodge, Pakuba Safari Lodge or Ikorom safari Lodge(Full Board).
 

DAY 7: DRIVE TO KIBALE FOR CHIMPANZEE 

All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments . Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Optional evening cultural visit around the crates is amazing. 
Overnight at Kibale Forest camp or Chimpudu Lodge (Full Board).
 

DAY 8: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING IN KIBALE NATIONAL PARK 

You will do chimpanzee trekking in the morning, kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps plus 10 other primate including phoestes, red colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked monkey. You will do nature walk into Bigodi wetland in the afernoon.
Overnight at Kibale Forest camp or Chimpudu Lodge (Full Board).
 
 
DAY 9: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL  PARK  
After breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mt. Queen Elizabeth national park is located in south western Uganda and its the second largest national park in Uganda after Murchison and located at the base of majestic Rwenzori mountains, next to lake Edward and lake George which are joined by Kazinga channel. This park has over 5000 hippos, 2500 Elephants and over 10000 buffaloes thriving in its grassland. You will go for afternoon game drive  to view lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, hyena and a variety of antelope species. 
Meals and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (Full Board).
 

DAY 10: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT SAFARI IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK:

You will do dawn morning game drive in Uganda‘s best park where all the big game can be seen in abundance.  The morning is the best time for game drive as African animal kingdom tend to be more active during the golden hours of first sunlight toutching the savannah. You will see lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, Leopards, waterbuck, Kobs, warthog, primates and big number of birds, also expect to see some rare animals like giant forest hog. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Albert and George. Here you will see large numbers of hippo more than you can possibly imagine, You will also see other animals such as crocodiles, waterbirds, and bathing Elephants.

DAY 11: MORNING GAME DRIVE IN ISHASHA THEN PROCEED TO BWINDI:

You will do morning game drive to spot African lions and other game in Ishasah sector. This sector famous for the rare tree-climbing lions. Thereafter drive to Bwindi via the landscape of tea plantations, probably East Africa’s most spectacular scenery, the highland rain forests which reach to the volcanoes in which live the mountain gorillas. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds.
Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi gorilla lodge, Rushaga gorilla Havens Lodge or Gorilla Leisure lodge (Full Board).

DAY 12: BWINDI GORILLA TREKKING:

 Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:00 am with briefing. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. You may see the gorillas eating, sucking ants from a tree, swinging on vines, playing and sleeping. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. It is most rewarding animal-based experience that clients get and others would definitely do it again if given the opportunity. There are now only 650 left in the world! The tracking may take between 2 and 10 hours but it’s well worth the effort. There is always an option to hire a local porter (highly recommended as it supports the local economy) who will carry your bag and literally, push you up the hills if necessary!

DAY 13: DRIVE TO LAKE MBURO

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Mburo NP via Mbarara, where you will enjoy evening boat ride in Lake Mburo amidst Hippos. Other animals like Crocodiles herons, African King Fisher, Fish Eagles, Pelicans, and Crested Cranes including local fishermen and fishing villages may be seen. 
Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge, Eagle Nest Camp or Arcadia Cottages.

 

DAY 14: GAME VIEWING IN LAKE MBURO

Morning game walk in the Park which is an extension of the Tanzanian Plains with big herds of Zebra, Impala, Eland , Warthogs ,buffalo and other savannah species. For birders, this is one of the best place to find African Fin foot, Papyrus, Bush Shrike, etc.
Overnigt at Jinja Nile Resort, Lamela Lodge or The Haven Lodge (Full Board).
 

DAY 15: TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE:

After breakfast, transfer to the Airport via Kampala for your flight back home.
